About Katy
Helping you feel stronger, move better and enjoy being active
Hi, I’m Katy Frizzell, founder of Frizzical Fitness.
I’m a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer with over five years of experience helping people build strength, confidence and healthier habits through exercise.
Whether you’re completely new to exercise, returning after time away, preparing for parenthood, or simply looking for a more balanced approach to fitness, I meet you where you are and support you to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
My goal is simple: to help people feel stronger, move more comfortably and build healthy habits that fit into everyday life.
My Approach
Exercise shouldn’t feel intimidating, overwhelming or like a punishment.
I believe fitness should support your life, not take it over.
My coaching style is friendly, encouraging and down-to-earth. I focus on helping people build strength, improve mobility and create realistic habits that are sustainable long term.
There are no quick fixes, extreme programmes or unrealistic expectations. Instead, I help clients make steady progress through consistent, achievable changes that work alongside the demands of work, family and everyday life.
Everyone starts somewhere, and whether you’re taking your first steps into exercise or looking to build on an existing routine, you’ll receive support that is tailored to you.
How I Can Help
Beginners
Starting can often feel like the hardest part. I help people take those first steps with confidence, creating a supportive environment where you can learn, progress and enjoy the process without feeling judged or overwhelmed.
Strength Training
Strength training is about much more than lifting weights. Building strength can improve confidence, support long-term health, make everyday activities easier and help you feel more capable in your body.
Mobility & Movement
Moving well is just as important as moving more. I help clients improve mobility, movement quality and confidence so they can stay active, reduce stiffness and feel more comfortable in everyday life.
Pre & Post Natal Exercise
As a qualified pre and post natal trainer, I support women through pregnancy and beyond with safe, appropriate exercise that adapts to the changing needs of the body.
Personalised Coaching & Programme Design
No two people are the same. I create personalised training plans based on your goals, experience, lifestyle and starting point, helping you follow a clear and structured plan designed specifically for you.
Nutrition & Lifestyle Support
Exercise is only one part of the picture. I provide practical nutrition and lifestyle guidance to help support your goals, build healthier habits and create sustainable results that fit naturally into everyday life.

Why I Love What I Do
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing people realise they can do more than they thought possible.
Sometimes that means lifting a heavier weight, completing a workout they once thought was beyond them or simply moving with greater confidence and ease.
For others, it’s having more energy, feeling stronger in everyday life or building habits that finally feel sustainable.
Those moments are why I love what I do.
Outside the Gym
When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me walking, training, enjoying Pilates or spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Like many of my clients, I understand how busy life can be and how difficult it can sometimes feel to prioritise your own wellbeing.
That’s why I believe exercise works best when it becomes a natural part of life rather than another thing on the to-do list.
